Hidden away in La Latina, El Tormo opened 25 years ago and offers diners the best La Mancha-style cuisine.
The restaurant is located inside a house, with a closed door, so you have to ring the doorbell for them to open. Bookings are always recommended at this unique, remote venue and are almost essential on weekends, since their typical La Mancha dishes are very popular. Some of the main specialities at El Tormo include cod in honey sauce, La Mancha gazpacho (cold tomato soup) with game and galianos (unleavened bread), morteruelo (pork kidney stew), gachas (similar to porridge) and flores de sartén (fried flour with sugar). It is recommended to reserve a table.
