The new restaurant run by chef Rafa Zafra, located in the NH Collection Madrid Eurobuilding hotel, takes you on a journey through Spanish cuisine to savour traditional dishes made with seasonal ingredients and given a modern twist. The menu offers sophisticated and versatile haute cuisine that seeks to consolidate the hotel’s reputation as one of the city’s main gourmet attractions.
The restaurant is located in one of the interior courtyards of the building. Its interior design, by MIL Studios, creates an atmosphere that invites you to enjoy eating "as you would at home", playing with materials often used in traditional Spanish restaurants and bars such as stone, steel and sisal rugs, along with furniture that combines tradition with more modern touches. The restaurant has a large main dining room with an open kitchen, with high and low tables as well as several semi reserved spaces, which afford diners greater privacy. There is also a new terrace to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city.
The menu features Rafa Zafra's signature dishes, which combine traditional cuisine with touches of sophistication and hedonism that put a modern spin on tradition. All the dishes are made from the best seasonal ingredients. There are various sharing platters, traditional hearty soups and stews, pulses and vegetables, egg and pasta dishes, fish, meat and poultry as well as homemade desserts. There are also vegetarian dishes and a children’s menu.
To elevate your dining experience, this new restaurant also has a wine list that perfectly complements its gourmet cuisine. In addition to a large selection of red wines from Spain’s major Designations of Origin, you can also choose from a number of champagnes as well as sparkling, white and rosé wines.
A full refurbishment of the hotel
Along with Casa de Comidas, the NH Collection Madrid Eurobuilding hotel has opened the Bikini Bar, also under the guidance of Rafra Zafra, which is a clear tribute to one of his most renowned dishes, where the gastronomic proposal of the chef from Seville focuses on bikinis, otherwise known as sandwiches.
They both form part of the full refurbishment of the hotel, which presents a new image that is set to improve the experience for its guests.  The transformation has also focused on the lobby, lounges, reception, guest relations area and its spectacular dome, all of which have been decorated and boast new furniture, creating inspiring spaces to work and relax.
