The legendary musical instrument store, founded in Chamberí in 1980 by the duo Ana and Johnny (active during the 1970s), where scores of national and international musicians have bought their instruments, is being reopened by their son Dan Dapena, who has turned it into an original restaurant that plays live music, and where you can still buy music equipment.
At the entrance to the premises is the original counter, where you can still buy music gear. But as you move further inside you can see the changes Dan has made: a restaurant area with an open kitchen, a bar and a stage for live music performances. Electric guitars line the walls, and drum cymbals cover the ceiling. It also has a private area on the second floor with a great view of the stage.
The menu consists of Mediterranean fusion dishes prepared by chef Salvatore Corradino, including some set menus. There is also an extensive cocktail menu personalised by David González, head chef of DiverXO.
