The wide range of culinary offerings in the neighbourhood of Chueca include this Cuban restaurant, where you can enjoy typical island food as well as Mediterranean food, accompanied by cocktails like mojitos and daiquiris made with imported añejo rum.
Borax offers a menu of the day, set menus for groups, a regular menu and spaces that can be made private for parties and company events.
The menu is based on high-quality seasonal ingredients, with dishes like sautéed wild asparagus and mushrooms, tomato stuffed with tuna served over salmorejo (tomato, garlic and bread) sauce, sesame salmon with orange sauce, pork roasted to perfection served with yucca, and ropa vieja (shredded beef), tamal and rice. As for the desserts, the Tarte Tatin is truly outstanding.
