The neighbourhood of Malasaña has been chosen by the Rosi La Loca World group to present its latest culinary enterprise, a restaurant with Italian-gypsy influences where the décor and menu are bound to impress, standing on the site of the former Superchulo. Through the Giannini family, Italian nomadic gypsies who travel the world with their show “El Romanio”, the restaurant offers its unique culinary and cocktail offer, with dishes and drinks served in original and fun ways.
Spread over 350 m2, Boom Boom Ciao has a main room with an imperial high table, next to the cocktail bar and the kitchen, where you can watch the chefs and bartenders as they work. There are also low tables on which you appear to be floating in a hot air balloon, and others that are slightly elevated that offer a panoramic view of the place.
The restaurant also has a more intimate private space, for large groups, decorated with works of art, where there is a photo booth. On the ground floor, there will soon be an exclusive cocktail bar, the Boom Boom Bar.
The interior design, created by CYRS in collaboration with Estudio Tentación, recalls the Italian Dolce Vita through its striking prints, colourful butterflies, lemons and velvet tiles.
Chef Ainhoa Romero heads up the kitchen, and together with gastronomic advisor Ignacio Chicharro they have created a proposal in which the quality of the ingredients are enhanced through large injections of creativity. The menu offers various sharing options. Several of its dishes feature flame-grilled meats and, of course, pasta and pizzas. In the cocktail bar, the head bartender of Rosi La Loca World, Alexis Velixar, has designed a menu of 13 signature cocktails that can accompany your meal from appetisers through to dessert.
