Located in the heart of the neighbourhood of La Latina, this "restaurant 2.0” stands on the site of the former legendary bar La Bambola, now completely renovated although it maintains its original traditional façade. Launched in 2018, it serves a menu that highlights the quality of the ingredients used with dishes designed to share. It also has a daily set menu.
The décor features mostly pastel tones and old gold, creating a relaxed and intimate ambiance.
The name of the restaurant, Bipolar, related to the disorder that causes sudden changes in mood, alludes to creativity, a trait that, according to several scientific studies, is also related to this condition. And this is precisely what the menu offers: creative dishes and surprising combinations made using the highest quality ingredients and beautifully presented, completed with a wide variety of wines and cocktails.
The constantly evolving menu has several surprising proposals to share according to the season and the availability of ingredients. The dishes include Torreznos 2.0, made with slow cooked Ibérico pork jowls with a touch of lime; fried Navarra DO artichokes with 24-month aged Parmiggiano Reggiano; Galician-style octopus toasted with avocado cream, pico de gallo salsa and chipotle mayo; steamed lamb ravioli with sweet potato cream and coconut in a lamb gravy, its famous cheesecake and Lemon Pie.
