Located on the rooftop of the luxury Hotel Palacio de San Martín, this restaurant owes its name to the original use of the building as the United States Embassy, a unique late 19th century construction located opposite the convent of the Descalzas Reales.
It is reached by climbing the six floors of the hotel, either using the period lift or by the impressive staircase. On the way, it is worth stopping to contemplate the decorative marble motifs, enriched with noble woods, or the rich coffered ceilings.
La Antigua Embajada has a large selection of typical tapas, which form the perfect pairing with the most delicious signature cuisine creations. In addition to à la carte menu, the restaurant also serves a daily menu from Monday to Friday.
The restaurant also has a terrace in a pedestrian square.
