This establishment is run by the Villalón family located in the culinary Calle Reina, in the district of Chueca. It is a wine bar that also serves food, and on the lower floor there is also a separate American-style bar.
It is divided into two areas. The first looks out on to the street through three large picture windows. This is where the dining area is, serving up traditional food with a contemporary twist, along with a wine bar where you can sample some very special wines, many of which are from small producers, with a wide selection of Burgundy wines. There are at least 25 wines served by the glass, along with over 500 served by the bottle, and a few craft beers. The bar area does not take bookings but the dining area does.
The other area is semi-hidden in the basement, with different opening hours and a much more intimate ambiance, with Chester armchairs and an exquisite selection of spirits and cocktails, over the years, it has earned many accolades, such as being included in the top 100 of the Top 500 Bars and receiving the FIBAR award for Best Restaurant Cocktails.
