This Arabic restaurant, located at the Centro Cultural Islámico de Madrid, also known as La Mezquita de la M30 (The M30 Mosque), is mostly frequented by the Muslim population of the city. Its varied gastronomical offer includes the most important dishes of the Middle- Eastern and North African cuisine.
With a much simple decor than other Arabic restaurants, Alzahra´s strong point is the menu that, in keeping with the Islamic tradition, does not include alcoholic drinks or pork dishes. There is a set daily menu for € 11.90 consisting of a selection from three first and three second courses that also includes bread, a drink and a dessert. On weekends they offer a buffet for € 14, where you can choose from a variety of typical Arabic dishes.
During Ramadan, they close during the day, but in the evening they serve traditional dishes typical for that celebration.
