A gastronomic reference in Moroccan cuisine, this restaurant alongside the Paseo de Recoletos has been taking diners to Morocco since 1969, thanks to its dishes and the establishment’s decor, which was carried out by Moroccan craftsmen, in which the impressive coffered ceilings and mosaics stand out. Throughout its history, Al Mounia has been awarded many prizes, such as the international gastronomic trophy, the Golden Cock Medal for World Best Restaurants or the International Gastronomic Quality plaque.
Typical Moroccan dishes are prepared each day at Al Mounia with traditional home-made dishes prepared by expert professionals in the area. The finest ingredients are used, offering the best cous-cous, tajines, mechouli and pastella. Its menu has a special place for the delicious Moroccan sweets, which are also prepared daily.
In addition to the dishes on the menu, the restaurant offers an executive menu and a tasting menu.
