The acclaimed singer-songwriter from Madrid, Alejandro Sanz, will be performing at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium on 20 June 2026 as part of his ¿Y Ahora Qué? world tour. He will be playing some of his greatest hits alongside his most recent tracks, including songs from his new album ¿Y Ahora Qué? (2025).
Born in Madrid in 1968, Alejandro Sánchez Pizarro is a composer and vocalist known artistically as Alejandro Sanz. He is one of the most prominent solo artists in the history of Spanish music, with over 25 million copies sold worldwide and winner of four Grammys and 24 Latin Grammys.
He began his career in 1989 with the album Los chulos son pa' cuidarlos, although he released the record under the name Alejandro Magno. In 1991, he recorded his second album, which he released as Alejandro Sanz, Viviendo deprisa. But it wasn't until 1997 that he became a mega star on the Spanish music scene, with the album Más, which included songs like Y, ¿si fuera ella?, Corazón partío and Amiga mía. This went on to become the biggest selling album in the history of Spain and one of the most important Spanish language records ever made.
Now he has more than 13 albums to his name, including SANZ, which came out in 2021, looking back over his 30-year career with a fusion of Black music, Caribbean rhythms, pop, orchestral landscapes and flamenco rhythms that evoke the city where he grew up, Cádiz. The album went straight in at number one on the Top 100 Albums (Sales+Streaming) chart and the Top 100 Albums and Top 100 Vinyl lists.
In 2020, he also received a star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame, being the ninth Spanish artist to achieve this, and in 2021, he represented Europe in the opening ceremony of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
Currently, the artist is on tour to promote his new album ¿Y Ahora Qué?, released in May 2025, which features collaborations with artists such as Shakira, Manuel Turizo and Grupo Frontera. This new album received several nominations at the 2025 Latin Grammys: Recording of the Year, for Palmeras en el jardín, Album of the Year for ¿Y Ahora Qué?, Song of the Year for Palmeras en el jardín and Best Contemporary Album for ¿Y Ahora Qué?.
