Run by Paco Quirós and Carlos Crespo, two outstanding Cantabrian restaurant owners, this restaurant offers a contemporary take on the best Cantabrian cuisine, serving quality ingredients at a very good price. With extensive opening hours, you can enjoy anything from breakfast right up to after-dinner drinks.
The spacious restaurant is spread over two floors, in turn divided into several rooms with different ambiences. The decor, created by the architectural firm Zooco, features mainly wood and several motifs reminiscent of Santander. One of the most outstanding areas is the entrance, where there is a covered terrace with underfloor heating so you can eat there even in winter. It also has a reserved area for private bookings.
La Maruca has another branch at No. 212 Paseo de la Castellana, and No. 42 López de Hoyos.
