Inaugurated in December 1993, this mega store owned by the French group FNAC is a key point of reference and meeting point for cultural events and the consumption of leisure, culture and technology in the city. Considered the flagship FNAC store in Spain, here you can buy all kinds of audiovisual products, books, music, tickets for shows, movies, video games and new technologies, with staff on hand to provide expert advice.
Having closed its doors back in 2025, the shop relaunched on 30 October. The new store is spread over 4000 square metres and four floors (ground floor and a further three floors above), with a modern and functional design that dedicates 70% of the space to the shop floor and offers a slick, innovative shopping experience. One of its main attractions is the Forum, a cultural venue that will host presentations, talks and activities.
On the upper floors, there is a food market, a large dining area, and terraces with spectacular views of the Madrid skyline.
In addition to its day-to-day activities, the shop plays a prominent role in major cultural celebrations, such as World Book Day, Photoespaña, and World Music Day, among others.
Fnac has other branches in Madrid, at Calle Goya, 42, and at the La Gavia (Avenida de las Suertes, s/n, Ensanche de Vallecas), Plaza Río 2 (calle Antonio López, 109) and La Vaguada (Avenida de Monforte de Lemos, 36) commercial centres.
