Located in the neighbourhood of El Viso in Chamartín, in premises that until July 2025 housed the restaurant from the popular TV programme MasterChef, La Nicolasa, one of Madrid’s most prominent Basque restaurants for many years, is reopening under the management of businessman Arturo Fernández and Grupo San Telmo.
Founded in 1912 by Nicolasa Pradera, a renowned Basque chef, the restaurant served the finest Basque cuisine, featuring dishes such as Nicolasa-style cod. It is now back with a revamped menu featuring traditional Basque recipes, fish dishes and homemade desserts.
The décor is classic and cosy, with carpets, wooden furniture and private dining areas. It also has an English-style bar where you can enjoy a drink before your meal.
