Zubi

The Spanish firm specialising in designer bags, accessories and clothing was founded in 2012 in Madrid by the sisters Elena and Mercedes Zubizarreta. Their collections are inspired by the places they explore around the world, and their designs emerge from anything that awakens their senses, such as a landscape, a smell or simply a colour.

Their starting point was the design of a cotton handbag with a printed photo of a landscape taken by the Zubizarreta sisters, which today has become their most iconic item.

Their designs are aimed at women who work, study and have their own family, but who are looking to add something special yet practical to their everyday looks, where function meets elegance.

Each piece is unique because it is handmade in Spain by the best artisans. Their manufacturing process is sustainable because the products are made locally, gradually, and they are keenly aware of the need to minimise surplus at every step so their collections are limited.

In addition to the boutique in Chamberí, the firm has another store at No. 14 Calle Jorge Juan.
