This cinema, inaugurated in 2010 in the place where the California cinema used to be and which receives its name in honor of the famous director Luis García Berlanga, forms part of the SGAE Foundation. The venue screens auteur and independent cinema, and also puts on concerts and performances at very affordable prices.
Its programming is based on the promotion of diverse and inclusive culture, which takes into account both emerging and independent proposals, as well as others that highlight our cultural heritage. So it brings together the performing arts, cinema, music and exhibitions, along with other artistic manifestations. Especially focused on cinema, it hosts specialist cycles and festivals, including short films and documentaries.
