The Noches del Botánico Festival celebrates its ninth edition from 4 June to 31 July 2025 at the Alfonso XIII Royal Botanical Garden located in the grounds of Madrid’s Complutense University. A series of concerts taking place on summer evenings and nights, featuring a line-up of national and International artists, including the likes of Morrissey, Van Morrison, Texas, Kool & The Gang, Roxette, Santana, Zahara, Parcels, Beth Gibbons, Molotov and Max Richter, among others.
Between the months of June and July, the Botanical Gardens on the grounds of Madrid’s Complutense University provide the backdrop for a multi-faceted festival that showcases the cross-over of generations and styles (jazz, latin, flamenco, rock and pop), a celebration of eclecticism at this unmissable event of the summer season.
And it's not just about the music. Here you can connect with nature in a unique setting in the city, as you enjoy concerts by your favourite artists as part of this unforgettable experience starting at 7pm every evening in the Botanical Garden of Madrid’s Complutense University.
The line-up for the 2025 edition includes Kool & The Gang , the acclaimed American R&B, soul, and funk band who rose to fame in the 70s and 80s. The group will take to the stage on 25 June to perform memorable hits such as Get Down On It, Celebration, Jungle Boogie and Ladies' Night.
Concert goers can also enjoy the music of Roxette , the duo considered one of the most important and successful Swedish bands since ABBA. Made up of singer Marie Fredriksson and singer-songwriter Per Gessle, they brought us songs such as The Look, Joyride, Listen To Your Heart, It Must Have Been Love and Spending My Time . Enduring songs that will be performed now by Lena Phillipson, who sings Fredrikssen’s vocals at live concerts following the singer’s death in 2019.
Santana , one of the best guitarists of all time, will be performing a two-night stint on the 28 and 29 July as part of his Oneness Tour 2025 . The master of blues and rock fusion with Afro-Latino sounds will be playing all his timeless classics at the festival.
These artists are joined by veteran German producer and pianist Max Richter , one of the most acclaimed and influential composers of today; artist Beth Gibbons , singer and songwriter of the British trip-hop band Portishead; Australian band Parcels with the best funk, soul, disco and electronic pop; French electronic music band Air ; Colombian artist Fonseca ; the grown-up American rock music of Train ; and Parov Stelar , the stage name of Austrian producer and DJ Marcus Füreder, a genuine virtuoso talent in the mixing of swing, house, electronica, jazz and hip hop.
Home-grown acts on the line-up include Ana Belén , one of the great voices on the Spanish music scene, performing songs such as La Puerta de Alcalá, El hombre del piano and Lía ; the artist Zahara who has become a big name in Spanish independent pop in recent years; electronic pop and irreverent glam pop punk by Fangoria and Nancys Rubias ; and the indie pop band Lori Meyers , among others.
