This small bar is located close to El Retiro Park, for many the golden mile of gastronomy in Madrid. Its cuisine blends national and international specialities, particularly emphasising seasonal products such as vegetables, mushrooms, fish and game.
The menu at La Raquetista changes according to the market and season. The chef, Javier Aparicio, creates sincere product-based food with his own recipes.
The wine menu covers many regions of Spain with different varieties of grape and different personalities offering a wide range of options, including champagnes.
The place has a small outdoor terrace.
La Raquetista has another establishment at 41, Calle Juan Bravo, where its dishes are combined with new proposals from Latin American gastronomy.
