As its name suggests, this business’s mission is to be an emblem of the slow movement, a school of thought that advocates slowing down, putting the brakes on life and controlling our time rather than time controlling us. To help us with our crusade against haste, they offer anti-stress exercises in addition to the usual medical-aesthetic treatments.

What sets Slow House apart from other similar beauty parlours is that it is also a social club where you can spend the afternoon quietly reading a book and drinking coffee while listening to relaxing music. The centre also organises workshops, talks and other activities to help us take life at a much slower pace.
