The Avenida de América Station is a bus station connecting intercity buses with city buses and subways. Therefore, it is very fast-paced at any hour of the day. It is the first reference point for many travellers upon stepping foot in Madrid.

Apart from the many interurban lines that connect Madrid to its surrounding areas, also operates from here:

ALSA ( +34 - 91 020 70 07), following its merger with Continental-Auto in 2007, covering long distance routes to Baza, Bilbao, Burgos, Irun, Laredo, Llivia, Pamplona, Logroño, Salobreña, Salou, San Sebastian, Santander, Soria, Tarragona, Torredelmar, Torrelavega, Vitoria/Gasteiz and Zaragoza.
PLM Autocares ( +34 941 202 777), with services running to Belorado, Estella, Haro, Ibeas de Juarros, Logroño, Los Arcos, Najera, Pamplona, Puente de la Reina/Gares, Santo Domingo de la Calzada and Viana.
