Where Madrid’s Barrio de Salamanca neighbourhood brushes up against the Paseo de la Castellana, we find this chic, cosy restaurant owned by the Mabel Capital group and Cristiano Ronaldo. Founded in 2014, and with restaurants in Madrid, Valencia, Ibiza, Marbella, Riyadh and Dubai, Tatel offers a unique experience, combining Spanish fine dining with excellent customer service and live music every day of the year.
The venue has an art deco inspired aesthetic, and the elegant, refined interior is on a par with its exclusive culinary offer. Following its recent refurbishments in 2020, it has a new terrace that is ventilated and open to the street, but which is also equipped for the colder months. The stage, where you can enjoy daily shows with dinner, is perfectly positioned so it can be seen by everyone no matter where they are sitting.
The bar serves a vast array of drinks, from traditional to highly original cocktails, paying homage to the Spanish Golden Age, thanks to bartender David Enescu “Rubik".
Chef Juan Antonio Medina is the executive chef of Tatel, responsible for creating a menu that puts a creative twist on traditional Spanish recipes, always inspired by the ingredients and fresh produce, aiming for the highest quality and establishing a direct connection with farmers and suppliers. To round off the gastronomic experience, Tatel has a huge wine cellar with more than 150 references ranging from sparkling, still, liqueur and sweet wines.
TATEL Madrid and TATEL Ibiza have been awarded the Travellers’ Choice Award 2021 granted by the Tripadvisor platform. This award is given to establishments that constantly offer the highest level of excellence in their service, granted to a select group of 10% of all the restaurants registered on the platform.
