This tavern opened in 1916 and is a traditional Madrilenian bar serving beers and tapas. Customers are in for a treat here, though, as each beverage comes with two tapas. They also serve traditional dishes such as tortilla (potato omelette), delicious croquettes or the speciality: steamed mussels. At noon, from Monday to Friday, they serve a daily menu of home cooking.
The best thing about this place is that everything is made to order, the food isn't left on show on the bar for hours. Everything is freshly cooked.
