If there is one thing that makes Hotel Victoria 4 unique, aside from its centric location, it is the wise combination of original elements from the five-storey, 1850 building where it is housed, and the latest and most innovative interior design and cutting-edge technologies both in its 52 rooms and in the common areas.
It has 52 spacious, fully equipped rooms that can sleep up to four people, all with natural light and comfortable beds. It offers a wide range of services, including 24h reception, free internet connection, transfer service and luggage storage.
In terms of dining, its restaurant La Carmela, located on the ground floor of the hotel, is inspired by the traditional tabernas of Madrid. There you can sample typical tapas and dishes from various parts of Spain, such as paella, gazpacho and a hearty soup known as caldo gallego. They also specialise in more traditional dishes such as callos (stewed tripe) and other typical Madrid stews.
In addition, below the restaurant, in the old coalhouse, is the Tablao Flamenco La Carmela, run by the great maestro Juan Andrés Maya and Raquel Martos Maroto. A space for flamenco singing and dancing that offers a cosy atmosphere with vaulted brick ceilings. Diners can enjoy the show as they sample any of its four different menus with an emphasis on traditional Spanish and Madrid influences, present in its food and drinks.
