The Complutense University Botanical Garden (Alfonso XIII Royal Botanical Garden) will host a concert on 8 July featuring the collaboration between Tom Rowlands (The Chemical Brothers) and the Norwegian artist, AURORA. This concert will be headed by two key figures in contemporary electronic music that can be enjoyed as part of the Nights at the Botanical concert series.
AURORA, one of the most unique and special artists on today’s music scene, is known for her style that blends pop and electronic music. The Norwegian singer-songwriter has carved a solid international career marked by a very distinct artistic identity, with over 14 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Her career has been characterised by exploring different sounds and collaborations with other artists, such as her participation on The Chemical Brothers’ No Geography album (2019), in which she contributed to several tracks, including Eve Of Destruction. In 2024, she released What Happened To The Heart?, an album that went into the Top 10 in the United Kingdom, leading to her international breakthrough.
Tom Rowlands is one of the most influential names in electronic music as a member of the British duo, The Chemical Brothers. With a consolidated international career under his belt, he has played a key role in the evolution of contemporary electronic music, building a career marked by innovation and experimentation.
The collaboration between the two artists has led to the creation of TOMORA, a project that emerged from their creative relationship that began during the No Geography sessions (2019). This new collaborative partnership made its debut with the album COME CLOSER (2026), combining AURORA’s artistic sensitivity with Rowlands’ experience and electronic approach.
