Iberdrola Music will host the first major Andalusian fair in Madrid from 20 May 2026, in which visitors will be able to enjoy the most authentic fair with booths, horses, gastronomy, live music and flamenco fashion.
For almost a month, an area spanning 200,000m2 will house more than 400 booths, horses, music, gastronomy and, above all, a lot of art, bringing the spirit of the April Fair to Madrid. In this first edition, the event expects to welcome around 800,000 visitors over the 20 days of the fair. Madrilucía will recover the legacy of the great fairs that marked Madrid’s cultural history at the end of the 20th century, such as those that were held between 1986 and 1995, adapting them to the present day: sustainable, inclusive and open to the world.
Madrilucía will have different areas, designed to offer a full and diverse experience. First of all, Plaza Candela and the Music Zone, a space for art and emotion, which will bring together major figures and new talents from song, guitar playing and dancing. There will be live music in the open air with contemporary artists, flamenco, Rocío choirs and copla, as well as music in various formats with intimate acoustic concerts at sunset, fusion sessions and major shows.
The Festive Zone will have more than 400 booths with catering, traditional Andalusian decoration, live music and centralised services for all visitors, creating an inclusive and vibrant experience. The Cultural Zone will be a space devoted to Andalusian art, fashion and tradition, where saddlery, equestrian clothing, shawls, flowers, bullfighting painting and gourmet products can be discovered.
In the Equestrian Zone, there will be historic carriages and horse and carriage parades, enabling visitors to understand the Andalusian equestrian culture. The Gastronomic Zone will offer signature cuisine, food trucks and tapas bars, alongside diverse and carefully selected gastronomy, with classics, such as fried fish. Finally, there will be the Recreational Zone, designed for the enjoyment of all the family with adapted rides, traditional games and merry-go-rounds.
