Under the title of 125 Light-Years, Iberdrola will celebrate its 125th anniversary with a very special festival at the Iberdrola Music venue on 27 June 2026. This event will feature performances by the American singer, Lenny Kravitz and the Spanish artists, Manuel Carrasco and Ana Mena.
To celebrate its 125th anniversary, Iberdrola has presented an extensive cultural programme to be developed throughout 2026. One of the central elements is music and a major festival has been organised in June, featuring reputed artists.
Considered to be one of the most important rock musicians of our time, the producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist, Lenny Kravitz has won four consecutive Grammy Awards, setting a new record for the most wins in the category of Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. Influenced by 1960s and 1970s soul, rock and funk, he has released twelve studio albums, selling over 40 million copies sold and is behind big hits, such as American Woman, It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over, and Fly Away.
Manuel Carrasco is a Spanish singer-songwriter known for his style which combines pop, ballads and his Andalusian roots. He has a solid musical career under his belt, characterised by emotional, relatable and extremely personal lyrics. He has accumulated more than 20 years of musical experience, during which he has released eight other studio albums and has established himself as one of the most important singer-songwriters on the Spanish music scene. His career has been full of hits, such as the multi-platinum winning album, La Cruz del Mapa (2018), which topped the charts for six weeks, or Corazón y Flechas (2022).
The Spanish pop star from Malaga, Ana Mena has gone from strength to strength, not only in Spain, but also worldwide. Albums like Index (2020), Bellodrama (2023) and Bellodrama Tour Edition have marked a period of artistic maturity. Her best known songs include Se Iluminaba, Madrid City, Las 12, Música Ligera and Quiero Decirte.
With a surface area of 185 m2 and capacity for more than 100,000 people, the Iberdrola Music venue can host major musical, cultural and entertainment festivals and events with minimum environmental impact. With the electrification of all the stages using 100% green energy, Iberdrola Music seeks to avoid tonnes of carbon dioxide being emitted into the atmosphere.
