The Community of Madrid Orchestra and Choir (ORCAM) presents its 2025/2026 season which brings together a diverse programme, which reaffirms the institution’s values and reflects the ensemble's energy and versatility. The season will kick off on 20 October 2025 and will extend until 7 July 2026 at the National Music Auditorium, presenting ten concerts as part of the Symphony Concert Series and four in the Chamber Concert Series.
Therefore, the season includes a total of 14 concerts and will kick off on 20 October with Variations on Shostakovich, a monographic in tribute to the Russian composer on the 50th anniversary of his death, conducted by Alondra de la Parra.
The programme will include the participation of international artists, such as the violinist, Nemanja Radulović, the soprano Fatma Said, the trumpet player, Stefan Dohr, the soprano Serena Sáenz and the conductors Joana Carneiro, Laurence Equilbey and Mei-Ann Chen.
The highlights of the season include the world première of Laguna de los Pájaros as part of the An Ode to Nature concert. The ORCAM Foundation commissioned it to the composer from Madrid Mauricio Sotelo and it can be heard on 10 March with the participation of Stefan Dohr conducted by the resident artistic director of the ORCAM since 2024: Alondra de la Parra.
