In the heart of the Malasaña neighbourhood, this "ceramicafé" offers you the chance to paint a piece of pottery while you enjoy your tea or coffee. It is one of the first cafés of its kind to open in Madrid and is hugely popular, so booking is essential.
The café itself has a vintage feel and allows you to choose from more than 100 pottery pieces, including cups, plates, piggy banks, salad bowls, vases, figurines, etc... Then you decide which colours, brushes or templates you wish to use. Once you’ve finished, you leave the piece there and they fire it for you, ready to collect after 5 or 6 days. The price varies according to the ceramic piece you choose to paint, and the price includes: the colours, the tools, firing in the kiln, and tea or coffee.
Although the activity is suitable for all, house rules state that participants have to be over 8 years of age.
