Manuel Turizo

On 23 October, Colombian singer-songwriter Manuel Turizo will be performing a radical show as part his 201 WORLD TOUR 2025, bringing to life Apartment 201, where he writes much of his music.

Born in Montería (Colombia) in 2000, Manuel Turizo Zapata is a vocalist who rose to fame thanks to his huge international hit single Un lady como tu, released in 2017. After that, he worked with the Colombian band Piso 21 on the song Déjala que Vuelva, which features on his second studio album, Ubuntu, and also guested on the single Bésame by Puerto Rican singer Valentino.

In 2019, he released his first album ADN, which showcased his musical style, with catchy lyrics and hooks that combine elements of reggaeton, pop and urban music. In 2021, he returned with Dopamina, an album that features collaborations with Maluma, Rauw Alejandro, Myke Towers, Justin Quiles, Dalex, Farruko, will.i.am, El Alfa, Wisin & Yandel, Jay Wheeler and Miky Woodz.

By 2023, Turizo was exploring other musical genres like bachata and electronic music, dropping a string of tracks including La bachata (which won Best Latin Song in the Global Latin category of the 40 Music Awards 2022),  Despecho and Ecstasy with María Becerra, Marshmello and Sebastián Yatra.

Since releasing 201 in 2024, the artist has been very busy, working on a number of important projects including a collaboration with Lola Índigo on 1000 cosas, and Cómo sería with Alejandro Sanz.
