In their workshop in the neighbourhood of Lavapiés, artisan ceramicists Pedro León and Miki Caro run several ceramic and raku (centuries-old Japanese pottery technique) courses. They also have an online store where they sell crockery, lamps, umbrella stands and trays made entirely by hand with original designs, where each piece is unique.
The crockery made by Arte Hoy using the raku pottery technique is used by several chefs and Michelin-starred restaurants, such as Kabuki and Paco Roncero.
The workshop regularly participates in the arts and craft fairs held in Madrid throughout the year, where you can also buy beautiful ceramic jewellery.
