This workshop located in the heart of Chamberí was founded in 2004 by Victoria Martínez, a graduate in Chemistry and furniture restorer, and Carlo Franco, graduate in Fine Arts and professor of ceramics, fabric painting, crafts, furniture recycling and decorative painting. They run various courses and carry out customer commissions in ceramics and the restoration of antique furniture and frames.
Their working philosophy is to use, whenever possible, natural and non-abrasive products that fully respect the original piece, avoiding excessive interventions. Each item they work on, whether it’s a piece of furniture or a frame, will always retain the essence with which it was conceived by the original artisan, giving it a new splendour and recovering its original presence.
The courses it runs as a school include furniture and frame restoration, furniture recycling, gilding, decorative painting, crafts, fabric painting (customisation of clothing) and artistic ceramics.
