Located in Calle de Cuchilleros, close to the Plaza Mayor, this flamenco house offers daily flamenco shows without the aid of microphones to help vocals and the guitar, or percussion boxes that cover up the dancers’ beat errors, or any other kind of dramatic or stage design effects. It is a flamenco house in the purest form, where improvisation, emotion, feeling, what is known as the “magic” are what guide the artists on stage.
In addition to its shows, the flamenco house is transformed into a rociera hall at midnight, with live music everyday to dance to the rhythm of sevillanas and rumbas. On Saturdays and Sundays, it serves a flamenco aperitif with free entrance.
The kitchen at La Quimera serves typical dishes from Spanish cuisine, using the finest ingredients.
Flamenco classes are also offered an hour and a half before the show.
