The name is a combination of Madrid and Brooklyn, as both cities are twinned in this bar, which opened in 2012 and has since become a staple of Malasaña’s nightlife, where you can enjoy the best in Rock, Pop, Indie, Soul, Garage...
The décor is reminiscent of a Brooklyn bar with an old ceiling, wooden floors that mimic the Coney Island promenade and original pinball screens hanging from the walls. At the back, decorated with Broadway-style light bulbs, there is an antique piano.
Madklyn puts on a wide range of different events, including concerts, stand-up comedy nights, book launches, and DJ sessions.
