Right by the Plaza de las Salesas, next to Chueca, you will find this speakeasy-style secret cocktail bar, created by Scottish owner Murray MacDonald. The outside looks like a florist's shop selling preserved plants and candles, but it's just a front for a cocktail bar decked out to look like an old bookshop.
The décor is made up of hundreds of books, some very old, with soft lighting, wooden furniture, armchairs, and lamps with classic style shades. Photographs inside are forbidden.
The cocktail menu is classic and simple, contrasting with the cocktails served up in the bar next to Jack's Library, Ficus, also owned by MacDonald.
