Glass Bar by Sips

SIPS, the third Best Cocktail Bar in the World, located in Barcelona, has come to Madrid to run the Glass Bar at the Hotel Urban. Simone Caporale and Marc Álvarez, who are behind the cocktail bar from Catalonia, are responsible for recovering the original essence of a space that has been a reference in Madrid for more than 15 years. 

Glass by Sips is a modern establishment with nods to the city of the 1920s in which large wenge wood panelling and a fully alabaster backlit backbar provide a warm and comfortable atmosphere as the leitmotif of the project.

The head bartender, Óscar Durán, is at the helm of the team. The Glass menu, with around twenty cocktails, is a reflection of that of Barcelona, but with some adaptations and new features.  The offer is rounded off with cava, champagne, spirits and wines from leading wineries and Maisons.
