Federal Café

Close to the Conde Duque cultural centre is this beautiful café, created by the Australians Tommy Tang and Crick King, which has another branch in Barcelona. Here you can have breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner or a drink, thanks to its open kitchen.

The open-plan premises stand out for their large windows, which provide a lot of natural light, and for their simple but designer décor, in the Nordic style.

Its menu includes organic and vegetarian food, sandwiches and hamburgers, as well as homemade cakes and pastries. It also has a wide selection of cocktails.

Federal Café has another branch in Madrid, at Plaza del Conde de Barajas, 3, next to Plaza Mayor.
