This five-star hotel, which opened in December 2017, is the latest addition to the wide range of hotels available on Madrid's Gran Vía. This establishment seeks to become the flagship hotel for the American chain in Europe.
The hotel is set within a ten-storey 1920s art decor building, which has been fully refurbished. It has 159 rooms, 16 of which are suites with impressive views over the Gran Vía, decorated with pieces inspired by popular Madrid culture, such as Spanish guitars, dogtooth print curtains and rugs, and the iconic works of Madrid painter Juan Gris.
It boasts meeting rooms equipped with the latest technology, a gym, a take-away food service, porter service, multilingual staff, laundry and dry cleaning service.
As for dining options, on the first floor you have Hielo y Carbón, a concept restaurant that offers a complete experience for all the senses. The menu, inspired by Madrid’s market cuisine, defies expectations by merging ingredients and techniques in a harmonious way. On the ground floor, Ondas is a bar and café that specialises in the typical local tipple, vermouth. The décor is inspired by the movida madrileña cultural movement. Finally, on the tenth floor is the Jardín de Diana, a secret bar with a unique setting where you can enjoy unbeatable views out over Gran Vía, as well as a genuine culinary experience packed with energy along with a great selection of cocktails.
