The residence hall Santillana is attached to Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and is located in the residential area of Mirasierra. It opened its doors in 1976, aiming to provide university students with an integral education in every area: professional, social, spiritual and human. Every aspect of this men’s residence hall reflects a Christian conception of life.
The spiritual and religious education is entrusted to the Prelature of Opus Dei, an organization of the Roman Catholic Church. They offer single rooms with full bathroom, with shower and washbasin and without bathroom (shared bathrooms provided along the corridors). Breakfast, lunch and dinner included everyday, including Sundays and holidays. Weekly dry cleaner and laundry services.
Some of the facilities offered are library, study room, tennis court, sports court and swimming pool. They also organize different cultural activities: talks and gatherings, medicine club, writing and oratory courses, stock exchange courses, Christian education activities, or volunteer work.
