The most striking feature of Hotel Atlántico is the building housing it, located right on Gran Vía and which can be compared to other emblematic buildings such as Casino de Madrid or the Ritz and Palace hotels.
It is an early 20th-century building by Joaquín Saldaña y López, showcasing an eclectic style and French influences. The decor includes a set of columns, pilasters, temperas and vases, crowned with a tower and a French-style dome, as well as the frontispiece which once displayed the coat of arms of its first owner, the Marquis of Falces. The interior features individually decorated rooms with a unique atmosphere.
