This beautiful restaurant can be found at the heart of the Argüelles neighbourhood and serves Mediterranean cuisine with international touches, specialising in sharing platters and grilled meats.
On the Punto Básico menu you can find sharing platters and assorted rustic canapés made from the best raw materials, amongst which there are chargrilled artichoke hearts or a salad of foie, lamb’s lettuce, fresh cheese, raisins and walnuts with a Pedro Ximénez dressing. Where its meats are concerned, these are grilled over holm oak branches, and they serve dishes such as Galician sirloin steak.
Punto Básico is a large, contemporary restaurant, decorated with warm materials such as wood and other colder materials such as metals and tiles. It has two different areas: a large bar upstairs, where you can order snacks and sample one of the many wines on the list, and a large dining room on the ground floor, with room for 120 people, which is ideal for celebrating family gatherings or business events. Furthermore, it has a terrace which is heated in winter.
