This typical Madrid food house was founded in 1932, and since then it has not stopped offering its diners a warm and friendly service with the best dishes from Spanish cuisine, which varies according to the season. It only serves meals at midday, which are followed by lively discussions along with board games or long drinks.
Located in this establishment in the Chamartín neighbourhood since 1980, it caters for an extremely varied clientele . Although it has a menu, it is traditional for the waiters to personally recite the dishes of the day, all of which are home-made, prepared with market produce, and in which special attention is paid to recipes with offal as the main ingredient.
The wine list includes over 40 references from at least ten Spanish denominations. As a distinctive touch, it opens a 27-litre Primate wine almost every day, which is consumed among its clients, offering them the option of enjoying a fine wine at affordable prices.
