This signature cocktail bar inspired by the Silk Road is located in the heart of the Malasaña neighbourhood, on the site of the legendary Café Isadora, which closed a few years ago. It offers a unique and creative experience in which you can sample cocktails that combine the most innovative techniques and flavours of modern mixology.
Founded by Iranian bar tender Mali Mohammadzadeh, who trained at the European Bartender School, and Gustavo Alan, from Peru, this cocktail bar is full of oriental references, both in its decoration (blue walls and ceilings covered with colourful fabrics, oriental style tableware), and in its menu, composed of several cocktails reminiscent of each of the countries that made up the Silk Road: India, China, Egypt, Persia, Greece and Japan, both in terms of the ingredients and spices used and the containers in which they are served.
In addition to its own creations, Caravan Serai also serves traditional cocktails and spirits.
