Parque de Atracciones Madrid integrates the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations into its strategy and sees them as an opportunity for growth, rapprochement and dialogue with stakeholders and competitive differentiation, while at the same time supporting the process of transformation towards a sustainable global society. Proof of this is the certification of the S seal of sustainability issued by the Institute of Tourism Quality (ICTE). In order to achieve this milestone, actions have been established aimed at, among others:
1. 100% of our electricity comes from renewable sources.
2. We have tools to monitor electricity and water consumption in order to reduce consumption and CO2 emissions.
3. We reduce food waste by establishing measures to control wastage and by joining the Too Good To Go programme.
4. We reduce the use of single-use plastic and we are committed to the use of reusable cups.
5. We established collaboration agreements with organizations such as Ecoembes through its Reciclos program and with the Ecomar Foundation to clean up our coasts.
