Callao City Lights / Cines Callao is the best place to organize any corporate event or film premiere. A privileged location, the emblematic building of the Callao Cinemas, in the heart of Madrid and with the most advanced technology on the market.
An exceptional place for holding all kinds of events: film premieres and corporate or company events (presentations, press conferences, award ceremonies, fashion shows, concerts, record signings…).
The Cines Callao building is located in the heart of Madrid, in the Plaza del Callao. Built in 1926, it is one of the best examples of art deco architecture in the capital, due to its equipped and versatile facilities, equipped with the latest technological advances in sound, image and lighting.
With a maximum capacity of 1,128 people, it has two rooms, an entrance hall and an ambigú, to be used together or independently. The entrance hall of the building, has capacity for 80 people in cocktail format. Room 1 includes 728 seats (450 in the stalls and 278 in the amphitheater), a stage, and a large screen. The seats on the first floor (stalls) can be removed, creating an open-plan room with capacity for 400 people in cocktail format. Room 2 has a stage, 400 seats, a large screen and a bar at the entrance with capacity for 80 people in cocktail format. The ambigu bar has a capacity for 200 people.
You will be able to use the square as an anteroom and customize the building, as well as use the two impressive outdoor large-format screens of 102 m² and 130 m², equipped with the latest technology (interactivity, live broadcasts, synchronization…) and with an unprecedented image quality.

At Callao City Lights we take care of the environment by controlling the temperature of our spaces and using LED lighting, both on the walls and on the floor of our rooms. This technology, which produces less heat than traditional bulbs, helps to reduce CO2 emissions and avoid the increase of greenhouse gases.
This awareness goes back years, when in 2011 the first DOOH screens were installed on the façades of the Callao Cinemas, replacing the printed signage that had a high environmental impact. A transformation to digital that allowed us to reduce our waste and minimise our impact on the planet.
And which continued with the renovation in 2019 of these screens with more efficient ones and with the replacement in 2020 of our traditional printed signage, located inside and outside cinema ticket office, with LED screens.
