Special venues in Madrid: small museums with history

With this article we want to share with organisers worldwide some unique venues in the city of Madrid, perhaps not so well known by non-resident professional visitors, but that offer very special locations for corporate events.

Museum of Romanticism: a late 18th century palace that houses the replica of a 19th century bourgeois house, with an important collection of art and artefacts. Exclusivity and charm for hosting events for 12 to 100 people.

Cerralbo Museum: a hidden palace in the centre of the city, decorated with Neo Baroque and Rococo artefacts, it preserves its essence that was created by the Marquis of  Cerralbo in the 17th century. Event capacity from 50 to 220 attendees, depending on the room.

Sorolla Museum: home and studio of artist Joaquín Sorolla, it preserves the atmosphere, décor and personal collections of the painter. For hosting between 25 and 100 people.

Lázaro-Galdiano Museum: surrounded by a historic garden, this museum houses over 12,600 works of art, including paintings by El Greco, Goya and Hieronymus Bosch. The hosting capacities range from 40 people seated in a schoolroom layout in the Pardo Bazán room, to a cocktail reception in the garden for 750 guests.
