SAGARDI Group is now present in Madrid’s Paseo de la Castellana in with the opening of the second SAGARDI Cocineros Vascos restaurant in the city. Sagardi Castellana is located in a prime location, close to Plaza Colon in the heart of the Salamanca district. This is the seventh restaurant under this brand in Spain and the Group’s sixth establishment in Madrid: Sagardi en Euskal Etxea, Orio Plaza Mayor, Orio Fuencarral, Golfo de Bizkaia and Sagàs Farmers, Cooks & Co. at Matadero.
This new restaurant is reminiscent of typical Basque Grill Houses where the centrepiece is an open-view charcoal grilling area. This is what makes the large grill-bar in SAGARDI Cocineros Vascos one of the main attractions. It is located just alongside the traditional Basque “pintxos” bar with an extensive selection of tapas, that is evolving all the time. This is an innovative offering based on quality, seasonal produce.
