On 18 June, MCB presented Madrid as a destination to MICE agencies in the British capital. A total of 12 companies belonging to Madrid Convention Bureau participated in the event. With the slogan “Madrid, Making Business a Pleasure”, the presentation, held at the Hispania London restaurant, drew around 30 buyers, from DMCs to event organizers and corporations based in the UK.
Gamification techniques were used to encourage participants to actively engage in games designed to communicate the resources and strong points of Madrid as a destination for meetings and incentive trips.
This format gave the Madrid delegation and event attendees the chance to forge business relationships. Everything was designed to convey seven selling points that make Madrid such an attractive destination in a casual, laid-back atmosphere. Customers and suppliers spent a very productive day together thanks to the different activities prepared by Madrid Convention Bureau and its delegation.
