Savouring delicious seasonal dishes in an emblematic building in Madrid, on a terrace in front of the Royal Palace, at the bar of a famous tavern alongside the Retiro Park or at the high tables of a trendy gastro-bar in the city centre, were just some of the options offered by participating restaurants in this culinary event for Autumn 2015, with their best cuisine at an unbeatable price.
The seventh edition of Madrid Exquisito (Delicious Madrid) offered the chance to enjoy a luxury tasting menu made, as always, with top quality seasonal produce.
Over thirty restaurants, representing the capital’s quality cuisine, famous taverns and gastro-bars, set out to raise awareness of the excellence of Madrid’s haute cuisine. To do so, each establishment prepared a menu with delights that best reflect the personality of their menus: national and international classics, fusion, avant-garde. Participants included El Café de Oriente, El Corral de la Morería, El Pitaco, Palacio de Cibeles and Arce.
Solidarity was also present at Madrid Exquisito. For each menu served, one euro went to the Messengers of Peace NGO which has several soup kitchens in the capital.
