According to sources at IFEMA, the international pharmaceutical ingredients expo CPHI Worldwide, the industry’s leading global event, brought 150 million euros to Madrid as it swept through the capital city. The event drew 2,500 companies from the pharmaceutical ingredients sector and 36,000 professionals from 153 countries. 74 Spanish companies participated in this year’s edition.
This international event, known to be one of the most influential in the world, showcased the latest trends among the world’s top companies and drew suppliers from the main pharmaceutical markets such as China, India, the USA, Turkey, Russia and Malaysia.
The 200,000 square metres comprising Feria de Madrid were devoted entirely to the event, whose activities also included the 7th CPHI Pre-Connect Congress, which was attended by senior representatives from the global pharmaceutical industry.
