H10 Hotels has completely remodelled its hotel H10 Villa de la Reina, located at number 22 on Madrid’s Gran Vía, transforming it into a boutique hotel.
The establishment is housed in a majestic early 20th-century building that retains its original façade and some architectural features.
The entire hotel was remodelled this year by prestigious interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, who gave it modern and classic touches designed to highlight the building’s splendour and imbue all of the hotel’s areas with warmth.
A cosy library is now located in the lobby and bar area on the ground floor, with a wide variety of books available for guests. Large wrought-iron lamps dominate the space, running throughout the lobby alongside the building’s original stone columns. Large velvet armchairs, plush carpets and a sizeable fireplace complete the space, and the final result is spectacular. Finally, an old stone staircase leads to an antique lift made of iron and wood which is still in use.
The establishment’s 74 rooms have been completely overhauled in favour of a new interior design based on light tones and top quality materials, with leather headboards, wooden furniture and wardrobes and walls featuring wooden trim. Like the chain’s other Boutique Hotels, the rooms in H10 Villa de la Reina boast numerous special touches, such as Nespresso coffee-makers, mineral water, bathrobes and slippers. Some rooms also offer views over Madrid’s Gran Vía.
As for the hotel’s culinary offering, Restaurante Las Infantas has also been renovated. Its new design is very modern and spacious, with plenty of light, reminiscent of a home kitchen. The restaurant offers customers a full breakfast with over 60 top quality options.
The hotel also provides free Wi-Fi, which is available throughout its premises, at the Business Corner in the lobby and in the three meeting rooms.
